As part of the practical visit of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkey, an exhibition of producers of our country “Made in Uzbekistan” was organized in Ankara. The Association “Uzcharmsanoat” and its member enterprises also participate in it with a team stand.
More than 100 types of naamunas of ready-made leather, shoes, leather-equestrian items, black fur and wool products of about 20 local enterprises occupied space from the exposition of the exhibition. The exhibition also presents imported substitute raw materials and chemicals to the Turkish side.
As part of the exhibition, The Acting Chairman of the Association Akbar Sultanov met with the head of the Turkish company “Gerede gelatin”. In the dialogue, the issue of producing a gelatin product with a Halol certificate in our country was discussed. The Turkish company has stated that it is ready to provide practical support to our local enterprises in this regard.
The international investment company Arastu, on the other hand, is interested in establishing “Mono centers”in Uzbekistan, specializing in the training of specialists. A memorandum of cooperation was signed with the aim of effective cooperation in this regard. The document was prepared in the authorship of the Chamber of Commerce and industry, the people’s Bank, the International Investment Company “Arastu” and the Union “Uzcharmsanoat”. On the basis of the Memorandum, “Mono centers”will be established in Samarkand, Bukhara, Namangan, Fergana and Tashkent, specializing in the training of specialists in the field of carpentry. They are taught by Turkish designers and technologists. By the end of the year, kadar will train 300 Uzbek specialists in the field. Also, in addition to the educational program, the company is engaged in the production of shoes in Uzbekistan. At the end of 2024, it is planned to produce 100 thousand pairs of quality shoes. The start of work of educational centers contributes to the training of 5,000 specialists per year, and they contribute to the production of 5 million pairs of shoes in Uzbekistan. The company will start organizing these centers in Uzbekistan from next week.
